Removal Procedure
- To assist in the removal of the body side emblem, warm the body side emblem (1) with a suitable tool.
- Use a suitable tool to carefully prise the emblem from the body.
- Remove any remaining adhesive from the body and clean the surface with a suitable cleaning solution using a lint free cloth.
Important: Protect the paint and body work with tape or a clean cloth. Failure to do so may result in damage to the paint work.
Important: Take care not to damage the paint on the vehicle when prying the emblem from the body.
Installation Procedure
- If reusing the body side emblem, clean the body side emblem with a suitable cleaning solution, using a lint free cloth.
- Peel the backing from the adhesive tape.
- Apply the body side emblem (1) to the position shown,
- Firmly press the body side emblem into place for 30 seconds to make sure proper adhesion of the body side emblem.
Important: Use spec HN2021 or equivalent.
Important: Do not allow the adhesive tape to come in contact with any dirt or foreign matter.
| 1.1. | Apply new polyethylene double sided tape to the back of the body side emblem. |
| 1.2. | Trim back the tape to the inner edge of the body side emblem. |
