Rear Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement SWBLWB

Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in the Preface section.

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the rear wheelhouse liner. Refer to Rear Inner Wheelhouse Replacement.



3. Remove the rear bumper fascia extension to rear bumper fascia retaining screw (1).



4. Disengage the rear bumper fascia extension retaining clips (1) from the rear bumper fascia.
5. Remove the rear bumper fascia extension (2) from the vehicle.

1. Position the rear bumper fascia extension (2) to the vehicle.
2. Engage the rear bumper fascia extension retaining clips (1) to the rear bumper fascia.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




3. Install the rear bumper fascia extension to rear bumper fascia retaining screw (1).

Tighten
Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

4. Install the rear wheelhouse liner. Refer to Rear Inner Wheelhouse Replacement.
5. Lower the vehicle.

Rear Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement LWBHSV

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement.



3. Remove the rear bumper extension to rear bumper fascia retaining screws (1).



4. Remove the rear bumper extension to rear fascia retaining scrivets (1)



5. Remove the outer rear bumper extension to rear bumper fascia retaining screws (1)




Important: The rear bumper extension (1) must be disengaged and removed on a horizontal plane to ensure the scrivet mounting points (2) are not damaged.

6. Disengage the rear bumper extension (1) away from the rear bumper fascia (2) in a horizontal rearward motion, without straining any of the scrivet mounting points (3).

Important: The rear bumper extension (1) must be disengaged and removed on a horizontal plane to ensure the scrivet mounting points (3) and are not damaged.

1. Engage the rear bumper extension (1) into the rear bumper fascia (2) in a horizontal forward motion, without allowing any of the mounting points (3) to become misaligned.



2. Install the rear bumper extension to rear fascia retaining scrivets (1).

3. Install the outer rear bumper extension to rear bumper fascia retaining screws (1).

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (18 lb in).




4. Install the rear bumper extension to rear bumper fascia retaining screws (1).

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

5. Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement.
6. Lower the vehicle to the ground.
