Auxiliary Temperature Valve Actuator Replacement LWB LHD

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the Instrument Panel Centre Trim Panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement.
  2. Remove the left side rear floor duct. Refer to Floor Rear Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side.

    3. Object Number: 1958698 Size: SH
  3. Locate the Mode Door Actuator - Auxiliary (3) on the HVAC module assembly.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the Mode Door Actuator - Auxiliary.
  5. Remove the Mode Door Actuator - Auxiliary actuator to HVAC module assembly retaining screws (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1958698 Size: SH
  1. Install the Mode Door Actuator - Auxiliary (3).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the Mode Door Actuator - Auxiliary to HVAC module assembly retaining screws (2).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 1.5 N·m (13 lb ft).

  3. Install the electrical connector (1) to the Mode Door Actuator - Auxiliary.
  4. Install the left side rear floor duct. Refer to Floor Rear Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side.
  5. Install the Instrument Panel Centre Trim Panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement.
  6. Perform HVAC system relearn.

Auxiliary Temperature Valve Actuator Replacement LWB RHD

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the Instrument Panel Centre Trim Panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement.
  2. Remove the right side floor duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Right Side.

    3. Object Number: 1958737 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the auxiliary air temperature actuator electrical connector (3).
  4. Remove the auxiliary air temperature actuator to HVAC module assembly retaining screws (2).
  5. Remove the auxiliary air temperature actuator (1) from the HVAC module assembly (4).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1958740 Size: SH
  1. Align the actuator drive gear (1) with the door shaft spline (2).

    2. Object Number: 1958737 Size: SH
  2. Install the auxiliary air temperature actuator (1) to the HVAC module assembly (4).

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the auxiliary air temperature actuator to HVAC module assembly retaining screws (2).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.2 N·m (9 lb ft).

  4. Connect the auxiliary air temperature actuator electrical connector (3).
  5. Install the right side floor duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Right Side.
  6. Install the instrument panel centre trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement.
  7. Perform HVAC system relearn. Refer to HVAC Control Module Programming and Setup.
