Makes 🢒 Holden 🢒 2009 🢒 Sportwagon 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.8L, 3.0L, 3.2L, or 3.6L 🢒 Generator Installation

    Object Number: 1958079 Size: SH
  1. Install the alternator bracket (2) to the engine block.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the alternator bracket to engine block retaining bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install the coolant inlet pipe to alternator mounting bracket retaining nut (3).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).

  4. Position the alternator (3) on the alternator mounting bracket (4).

    5. Important: The alternator mounting studs (4) have hexagonal outer ends to assist with removal and installation.

  5. Install the alternator to alternator bracket retaining studs (1) if required.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the studs to 18 N·m (13 lb ft).

  6. Install the alternator to alternator bracket stud retaining nuts (2).

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 18 N·m (13 lb ft).
