Makes 🢒 Holden 🢒 2009 🢒 Sportwagon 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.8L, 3.0L, 3.2L, or 3.6L 🢒 Oil Pump Disassemble

    Important: There are no serviceable components within the oil pump. Disassemble the pump only to diagnose an oiling concern. A disassembled oil pump must not be reused. A disassembled oil pump must be replaced.

    Important: The primary camshaft drive chain lower guide is not a serviceable component. If the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide is to be reused, the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide is not to be removed from the oil pump cover. If the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide must be replaced, the oil pump must be replaced.

  1. Remove the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide to oil pump retaining bolts (1).
  2. Remove the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide (2).

    3. Object Number: 1960763 Size: SH
  3. Remove the oil pump cover to the oil pump housing retaining bolts (2).
  4. Remove the oil pump cover (1).

    5. Object Number: 1960764 Size: SH
  5. Remove the inner oil pump drive gear (1).
  6. Remove the outer oil pump driven gear (2).

    7. Object Number: 1960765 Size: SH
  7. Remove the clip (5), holding the cap (4), for the oil relief valve components.
  8. Remove the cap (4), spring (3) and plunger (2) from the oil pump housing (1).
