Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1375163 Size: SH
  1. Remove the vacuum hose.
  2. Remove the intake manifold tuning (IMT) valve solenoid. Refer to Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Actuator Solenoid Replacement .
  3. Remove the IMT vacuum tank.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1375175 Size: SH
  1. Install the IMT vacuum tank.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the IMT vacuum tank retaining bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  2. Install the IMT solenoid. Refer to Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Actuator Solenoid Replacement .
  3. Install the vacuum hose.
