Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1822512 Size: SH
  1. Remove the PCV valve. Refer to Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve Replacement .
  2. Remove the turbocharger heat shield. Refer to Turbocharger Replacement .
  3. Remove the PCV valve adapter with the adapter gasket.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1822512 Size: SH
  1. Install the PCV valve adapter with a new gasket.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the PCV valve bolts to 11 N·m (97.4  lb in).

  2. Install the turbocharger heat shield. Refer to Turbocharger Replacement .
  3. Install the PCV valve. Refer to Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve Replacement .
