There are two audio systems offered. The radio with CD player or CD changer(6 discs indash) is offered in standard and deluxe models. Both models feature RDS (radio data system) which automatically selects the best station within the chain of RDS stations currently being listened to. The CD player in these unit can play CD-R, CD-R/W and CD-DA discs, and you can also listen to tracks in MP3/WMA format and CD-DA format (music data only). The unit switches utomatically between CD and MP3/WMA formats and indicates the current selection on the display.

The audio system has a security lock function. Setting the security lock function will protect against theft of the unit. When an ID code is registered with the security lock function, even if the unit is stolen and installed elsewhere it will not be possible to use it unless the registered ID code is input.

The procedure is as follows :

1. Setting the security lock (registering the ID code)

•	Turn the power OFF.

•	Press the power button while simultaneously holding down the i button and the leftmost function button. The ID code registration mode will be established and the figures 1 to 6 will appear on the display.

•	Press the function buttons beneath "1 to 6" on the display to enter the four digit code.

•	Press the power button The ID code will be registered and the power will be turned OFF.

2. Releasing the security lock.

•	Turn the power OFF.

•	Press the power button while simultaneously holding down the i button and the leftmost function button. The ID code registration mode will be established and the figures 1 to 6 will appear on the display.

•	Press the function buttons beneath "1 to 6" on the display to enter the fourdigit code.

•	Press the power button. If the entered code agrees with the registered code, the security lock is released and the power is turned OFF.

For further information on audio system, refer to owners manual. Once an ID code has been registered, that ID code will be necessary to release the security lock. Make sure that you do not forget the security code. If an incorrect code is input in ten successive attempts to release the security lock, no further attempts will be possible for approximately one hour.

The audio systems use six or eight speakers: two speakers mounted in the front doors, two speakers mounted in the rear doors, two front tweeter speakers mounted on the top side of the instrument panel and two rear tweeter speakers mounted in the rear doors.

Handle discs carefully. Store the discs in protective cases away from the sun, heat, and dust. If the surface is soiled, dampen a clean, soft cloth in a solution of mild neutral detergent and wipe the disc clean.
