Makes 🢒 Holden 🢒 2007 🢒 Epica 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.0L and 2.5L 🢒 Oil Pump Replacement

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1375586 Size: SH
  1. Remove oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
  2. Remove the oil pump sprocket cover bolts and the oil pump sprocket cover.

    3. Object Number: 1375587 Size: SH
  3. Remove the oil pump sprocket retaining nut and the oil pump sprocket.

    4. Object Number: 1375589 Size: SH
  4. Remove the oil suction pipe bracket bolt.
  5. Remove the 4 oil pump retaining bolts and the oil pump.
  6. Remove the oil ring from the oil pump.
  7. Remove the 2 oil suction pipe-to-oil pump retaining bolts.
  8. Remove the oil suction pipe gasket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1375589 Size: SH
  1. Discard the used oil pump oil ring and install a new one.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the oil suction pipe-to-oil pump retaining bolts, oil suction pipe bracket bolt, and the oil pump retaining bolt.

    3. Tighten

        • Tighten the oil suction pipe-to-oil pump retaining bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
        • Tighten the oil suction pipe bracket bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
        • Tighten the oil pump retaining bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

    Object Number: 1375592 Size: SH

    Important: Make sure the dotted surface on the sprocket faces toward the oil pump.

  3. Install the oil pump sprocket.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the oil pump sprocket retaining nut to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  4. Install the oil pump sprocket cover.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the oil pump sprocket cover retaining bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  5. Install the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
