Removal Procedure
- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the right front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
- Remove the engine front shield at the position of right front wheel. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement .
- Install a suitable tool to the drive belt tensioner.
- Rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise in order to relieve the belt tension.
- Remove the drive belt.
- Clean and inspect the belt and the mating surfaces of all the pulleys.
Installation Procedure
- Route the belt around all the pulleys.
- Install a suitable tool to the drive belt tensioner.
- Rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise in order to relieve tension on the tensioner.
- Install the drive belt.
- Inspect the drive belt for proper installation and alignment.
