Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.

    Note: Information must be retrieved from the instrument cluster before removing. Refer to Control Module References.


    Object Number: 1721595 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the instrument cluster trim panel.

    3. Object Number: 1721597 Size: SH
  3. Remove the instrument cluster rear trim panel.

    4. Object Number: 1721598 Size: SH
  4. Remove the screws and the instrument cluster.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1721598 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connectors.
  2. Install the instrument cluster with the screws and tighten to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

    3. Object Number: 1721597 Size: SH
  3. Install the instrument cluster rear trim panel.

    4. Object Number: 1721595 Size: SH
  4. Install the instrument cluster trim panel.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
  6. Program the instrument cluster. Refer to Control Module References.
