Removal Procedure
  1. Apply tape to the corners of the adjacent surfaces.
  2. Remove the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.

    3. Object Number: 1219414 Size: SH
  3. Remove the push-in retainers from the front bumper fascia upper support.
  4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  5. Remove the air dam. Refer to Front Air Dam Replacement .
  6. Disconnect the fog lamps electrical connectors, if equipped. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.

  7. Remove the push-in retainers from the fender liner to the fascia on the left and the right side.
  8. Pull back the front fender liner on the left and the right side.

    9. Object Number: 1219363 Size: SH
  9. Remove the bolt from the front bumper fascia to the front fender on the left and the right side.

    10. Object Number: 1465903 Size: SH
  10. Remove the front bumper fascia. With the aid of an assistant pull both sides of the fascia outward to release the retainers from the front fascia support.
  11. If replacing the front fascia, transfer the following parts:
    12. • The front fascia upper grille--Refer to Front Bumper Upper Fascia Grille Replacement .
    • The front fascia lower grille--Refer to Front Bumper Lower Fascia Grille Replacement .
    • The fog lamp, if equipped--Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
    • The licence plate and bracket--Refer to Front License Plate Bracket Replacement .
    • The front energy absorber--Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement .

Installation Procedure
  1. If replacing the front fascia, transfer the following parts:
    2. • The front energy absorber--Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement .
    • The licence plate and bracket--Refer to Front License Plate Bracket Replacement .
    • The fog lamp, if equipped--Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
    • The front fascia lower grille--Refer to Front Bumper Lower Fascia Grille Replacement .
    • The front fascia upper grille--Refer to Front Bumper Upper Fascia Grille Replacement .

  2. Install the front bumper fascia to the vehicle, with the aid of an assistant engaged to the front of the fenders.
  3. Pull back the front fender liner on the left and the right side.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the bolts to the front bumper fascia to the front fender on the left and the right side.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the push-in retainers to the front bumper fascia to the front fender liner on the left and the right side.

    6. Object Number: 1219414 Size: SH
  6. Install the push-in retainers to the front bumper fascia to front bumper fascia upper support .
  7. Install the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  8. Connect the fog lamps electrical connectors, if equipped. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  9. Lower the vehicle.
  10. Remove the protective tape.
