1. Remove the transmission range select lever. Refer to Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Replacement .
2. Remove the control valve upper body. Refer to Control Valve Upper Body Replacement .

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Disconnect the shift shaft position switch from the park pawl actuator.
