Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to the following procedures in Seats:
    2. •  Rear Seat Replacement
    •  Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement
    •  Rear Number 2 50-50 Seat Replacement
  2. Remove the rear door sill trim plates. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  3. Remove the endgate or the liftgate door sill trim plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  4. Remove the trim panels for the rear quarter. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side and to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side .

    5. Object Number: 625222 Size: SH
  5. Remove the bolts that retain the cargo tie down hooks to the floor.
  6. Remove the cargo tie down hooks.

    7. Object Number: 625220 Size: SH
  7. Remove the rear carpet from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 625220 Size: SH

    Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.

  1. Install the rear carpet to the vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 625222 Size: SH
  2. Install the cargo tie down hooks.

    3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bolts that retain the cargo tie down hooks to the floor.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

  4. Install the endgate or the liftgate door sill trim plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  5. Install the trim panels for the rear quarter. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side and to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side .
  6. Install the door sill trim plates. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  7. Install the rear seat. Refer to the following procedures in Seats:

    •  Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement
    •  Rear Number 2 50-50 Seat Replacement
