Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the window . Refer to Rear Side Door Window Module Replacement .
  3. Remove the inside door handle. Refer to Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  4. Remove the outside door handle. Refer to Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  5. Remove the door lock actuator. Refer to Rear Side Door Lock Actuator Replacement .
  6. Remove the weatherstrip from the door. Refer to Rear Door Weatherstrip Replacement .

  7. Disconnect the door wire harness. Refer to Door Wiring Harness Replacement .

    8. Object Number: 522133 Size: SH
  8. Remove the door check link bolt from the pillar side.
  9. With an assistant, remove the bolts from the upper and the lower door hinges.
  10. With an assistant, lift the door up from the hinge pins and remove the door from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 522133 Size: SH
  1. With an assistant install the door to the vehicle by setting the door down on the hinge pins.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the bolts to the upper and the lower door hinges.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the upper and lower bolts to 24 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the door check link bolt to the pillar side.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the door check link bolt to 24 N·m (18 lb ft).

  4. Connect the door wire harness.
  5. Install the rear door weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Door Weatherstrip Replacement .
  6. Install the door lock actuator. Refer to Rear Side Door Lock Actuator Replacement .
  7. Install the outside door handle. Refer to Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  8. Install the inside door handle. Refer to Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  9. Install the window . Refer to Rear Side Door Window Module Replacement .
  10. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  11. Inspect the alignment of the door. Refer to Door Adjustment .
