This bulletin is being issued to revise the Mechanical Specifications in the Engine Mechanical Specification sub-section of the Engine Section in the 1996 C/K Service Manuals, and the 1998 and 1999 C/K/G/P12/P32/P42/B/C/F Service Manuals.
Revise the text of the Engine Mechanical Specification for the Piston Pin Fit in Rod Clearance Specification for the 1996 7.4 L (L29) to read as follows:
Fit in Rod -- 0.0787-0.0533 mm (0.0031-0.0021 in) -- Interference
Revise the text of the Engine Mechanical Specification for the Piston Diameter Specification for the 1998-1999 7.4 L (L29, L21) and 1999 7.4 L (LP4) to read as follows:
Piston Diameter -- 107.891-107.904 mm (4.2477-4.2482 in)
Revise the text of the Engine Mechanical Specification for the Piston Diameter Specification for the 1998 6.0 L (LS0) to read as follows:
Piston Diameter -- 99.936-99.984 mm (3.934-3.936 in)
Revise the text of the Engine Mechanical Specification for the Bore and Piston Diameter Specifications for the 1998 7.0 L (LR0) to read as follows:
Bore -- 107.950 mm (4.250 in)
