Makes 🢒 GMC_Truck 🢒 2004 🢒 Yukon - 2WD 🢒 Transmission/Transaxle 🢒 Automatic Transmission - 4 Speed-M41 🢒 Rear Upper Valve Body Assemble
  1. Install the following 2-3 shift valve components:
    2. • The spring
    • The valve
    • The plug
    • The retainer
  2. Install the 1-2 shift valve and spring.

    3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the following rear valve body plate components:
    4. • The gasket
    • The plate
    • The bolts

    Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  4. Install the following 3-4 shift valve components:
    5. • The spring
    • The valve
    • The plug
    • The retainer
  5. Install the following components to the valve body:
    6. • The reverse brake sequence valve spring
    • The clutch sequence valve
    • The 3-2 kickdown control valve plug
    • The needle roller pin

  6. Install the 6 valve body balls (2).
