Removal Procedure

  1. Open the center console lid and remove the storage bin. Refer to Front Floor Console Compartment Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear cupholder from the end panel. Refer to Front Floor Console Cup Holder Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 754995  Size: SH
  4. Remove the 4 retaining screws (1).

  5. Object Number: 754997  Size: SH
  6. Remove the top 2 retaining screws (1).
  7. Move the end panel rearwards to gain access to the electrical connectors.
  8. Remove the end panel from the console.
  9. Remove the rear seat heater switch, if equipped. Refer to Rear Seat Heater Switch Replacement in Seats.
  10. Remove the rear seat audio controls, if equipped. Refer to Rear Seat Audio Control Replacement in Entertainment.
  11. Remove the console floor lamp, if equipped. Refer to Console Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  12. Remove the power outlets from the end panel, if equipped.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the power outlets to the end panel, if equipped.
  2. Install the console floor lamp, if equipped. Refer to Console Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  3. Install the rear seat audio controls, if equipped. Refer to Rear Seat Audio Control Replacement in Entertainment.
  4. Install the rear seat heater switch, if equipped. Refer to Rear Seat Heater Switch Replacement in Seats.
  5. Connect all electrical connectors.
  6. Install the end panel to the console.

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  8. Install the 2 top retaining screws (1).
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.6 N·m (14 lb in).

  10. Install the 4 retaining screws (1).
  11. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.6 N·m (14 lb in).

  12. Install the rear cupholder to the end panel. Refer to Front Floor Console Cup Holder Replacement .
  13. Install the storage bin. Refer to Front Floor Console Compartment Replacement .
