Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement in Seats.
  2. Remove the second rear seat, if equipped. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement in Seats.
  3. Remove the rear door sill trim plates. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  4. Remove the endgate or the liftgate door sill trim plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  5. Remove the trim panels for the rear quarter. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side or to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side .

  6. Object Number: 625222  Size: SH
  7. Remove the bolts that retain the cargo tie down hooks to the floor.
  8. Remove the cargo tie down hooks.

  9. Object Number: 625220  Size: SH
  10. Remove the rear carpet from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 625220  Size: SH

    Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.

  1. Install the rear carpet to the vehicle.

  2. Object Number: 625222  Size: SH
  3. Install the cargo tie down hooks.
  4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install the bolts that retain the cargo tie down hooks to the floor.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

  7. Install the endgate or the liftgate door sill trim plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  8. Install the trim panels for the rear quarter. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side or to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side .
  9. Install the door sill trim plates. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  10. Install the second rear seat if equipped. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement in Seats.
  11. Install the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement in Seats.
