Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) cluster trim bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement .
  2. Remove the center console, if equipped. Refer to Console Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 348701  Size: SH
  4. Open the I/P compartment door.
  5. Remove the bolts retaining the lower trim panel to the I/P assembly.

  6. Object Number: 375028  Size: SH
  7. Disconnect all the electrical connectors.
  8. Remove the lower trim panel from the I/P assembly.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 375028  Size: SH
  1. Connect all of the electrical connectors.

  2. Object Number: 348701  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bolts connecting the lower trim panel to the IP assembly.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the center console, if equipped. Refer to Console Replacement .
  6. Install the IP cluster trim bezel. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
