For 1990-2009 cars only
- Turn OFF the engine and apply the parking brake.
- Place a suitable container under the filter drain hose.
- Open the the filter drain valve.
- Start the engine and allow it to idle for one minute or until clear fuel is observed. A scan tool can also be used to turn the fuel pump on.
- Close the filter drain valve (3) and stop the engine.
- Dispose of the drained mixture in a proper manner.
- If the Water In Fuel lamp comes on again, repeat procedure until all of the water is removed.
