The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
You may experience an ABS lamp followed by a Service Stability message in the Drivers Information Center. After Initial diagnosis, you may have a diagnostic code C0710 set in the EBCM. Also, DTC C0455 may or may not be set.
Recommendation/Instructions:
You may experience an ABS lamp followed by a Service Stability message in the Drivers Information Center. After Initial diagnosis, you may have a diagnostic code C0710 set in the EBCM. Also, DTC C0455 may or may not be set.
If the steering wheel is not properly installed, remove the steering wheel and properly align the steering wheel and torque to factory spec per SI. Perform an alignment on the vehicle after the steering wheel has been corrected.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
