The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Some owners may comment that they are unable to set a personalized easy exit seat position and it will only move back a predetermined amount.

Recommendation/Instructions:

Unlike the previous model years, the new 2007-2008 Utilities and Pick up models move the seat rearward approximately 3 inches when the easy exit feature is activated. If the owner wishes to have the seat move back further the exit button can be pressed and the seat will move back an additional 3 inches after each press until the seat is all the way back. Please advise any owner with this concern of the new operating characteristic.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
