Preliminary Procedure

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling.
2. Remove surge tank hose/pipe. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose/Pipe Replacement.
3. Remove radiator hose inlet. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement.
4. Remove radiator hose outlet. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement.
5. Remove cooling fan and shroud. Refer to Cooling Fan and Shroud Replacement.
6. Remove engine oil cooler pipe/hose quick connect. Refer to Engine Oil Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection.
7. Remove transmission oil cooler lines. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement.

25 N·m (18 lb ft)
