Grille Replacement Chevrolet

Removal Procedure

  1. For diesel only, remove the winter cover, if equipped and installed.

  2. Object Number: 371535  Size: SH
  3. Open the hood.
  4. Remove the upper grille baffle.

  5. Object Number: 370261  Size: SH
  6. Using a Phillips screwdriver, rotate the grille retainer ¼ turn counterclockwise.

  7. Object Number: 370265  Size: SH
  8. Remove the screw holding the grille to the latch support.

  9. Object Number: 370264  Size: SH
  10. Unsnap the grille ends from the fender. Remove the grille from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 370264  Size: SH
  1. Snap the grille ends into the fender.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the screw holding the grille to the latch support.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the grille screw to 9 N·m (75 lb in).

  5. Using a Phillips screwdriver, rotate the grille retainer ¼ turn clockwise.

  6. Object Number: 371535  Size: SH
  7. Install the upper grille baffle.
  8. Close the hood.
  9. Inspect for proper alignment.
  10. For diesel only, install the winter cover, if removed.

  3. Open the hood.

  6. Using a Phillips screw driver, rotate the grille retainer ¼ turn counter clockwise.

  8. Remove the screw holding the grille to the latch support.

  9. Object Number: 370264  Size: SH
  10. Unsnap the grille end from the fender. Remove the grille from the vehicle.
