Preliminary Procedure

Remove the transmission fluid pan. Refer to Transmission Fluid Pan Replacement.

Fluid Filter

Caution: Pull the fluid filter assembly straight out to avoid damage. Do not bend or twist the filter neck.

Fluid Filter Seal

Caution: Do not damage the case sealing surface when removing the filter seal assembly.

Auxiliary Fluid Filter

Caution: Pull the fluid filter assembly straight out to avoid damage. Do not bend or twist the filter neck.

Auxiliary Suction Filter Tube

Tip
Not included with filter kit. Do not remove the auxiliary suction filter tube unless necessary to perform additional repairs.
