Preliminary Procedure Remove the liftgate handle. Refer to Liftgate Outside Handle Replacement .
1	Liftgate Release Switch Screws (Qty: 4) Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section. Tighten 2 N·m (18 lb in)
2	Liftgate Release Switch Tip Disconnect the electrical connector.
