Preliminary Procedures

1. Disable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
2. Remove the third row seats. Refer to Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement .
3. Remove the rear opening garnish molding. Refer to Rear Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
4. Remove the back rear corner upper garnish molding. Refer to Body Rear Corner Garnish Molding Replacement - Right Side .
5. Remove the rear side door sill plate. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
6. Remove the body side lock pillar garnish molding. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .

Body Side Trim Panel Assembly

Tip

1. Align the locators to the body side inner panel prior to engaging the retainers.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

3. Remove the rear opening garnish molding. Refer to Rear Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
4. Remove the back rear corner upper garnish molding. Refer to Body Rear Corner Garnish Molding Replacement - Right Side .
5. Remove the rear side door sill plate. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
6. Remove the body side lock pillar garnish molding. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .

Tip

1. Align the 4-way locator to the body side inner and then the 2-way locator to the body back opening.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
