Preliminary Procedure

1. Disconnect the liftgate window support struts. Refer to Liftgate Strut Replacement .
2. Remove the center high mounted stop lamp applique. Refer to Back Body Opening Upper Applique Replacement .
3. Remove the liftgate garnish molding. Refer to Liftgate Garnish Molding Replacement .
