Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 827600  Size: SH
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the nut from the side of the radiator.
  4. Remove the bolt and the nut from the shock bracket.
  5. Remove the radiator support brace.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 827600  Size: SH
  1. Install the radiator support brace.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bolt and the nut to the shock bracket.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  5. Install the nut to the stud on the side of the radiator.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  7. Install the wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement .
  8. Close the hood.
