Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 815539 Size: SH
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the nuts from the handle.
  3. Remove the handle from the hood.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 815539 Size: SH
  1. Clean the surface where the handle is to be placed. Area must be dry and free of wax or grease.
  2. Remove the backing from the handle.
  3. Install the handle to the hood.
  4. Press down firmly on the handle to ensure a tight bond.

    5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install the nuts to the handle.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 7.5 N·m (66 lb in).

  6. Close the hood.
