Excessive leakage

Check the compressor unloader, governor, and air dryer check valve.

The air brake dryer is not securely mounted, allowing too much vibration.

Tighten the air brake dryer mounting hardware.

The desiccant cartridge is faulty or service is overdue.

Replace the desiccant cartridge.

Air temperature entering dryer exceeds 66°C (150°F).

Increase line length for additional cooling.

Compressor output in excess of 25 CFM

Reduce output to less than 25 CFM.

Inadequate purge cycle

Dryer needs at least 30 seconds of purge time and 90 seconds or less of normal loaded time.
