Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 333678  Size: SH
  3. Partially remove the seat back cover at the lower rear corners of the seat back in order to access the seat back hinge retaining bolts.
  4. Remove the bolts from the seat back frame.
  5. Remove the seat back frame from the seat back cushion frame.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the seat back frame to the seat cushion frame.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bolts in order to retain the seat back frame to the seat cushion frame.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

  5. Secure the access flaps at the lower rear corners of the seat back.
  6. Install the seat to the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement .
