Did you review the system and circuit description and perform the necessary inspections?

Go to Step 2

Go to Symptoms - Air Suspension

Verify the fault is present.

Does the system operate normally?

Go to Testing for Electrical Intermittents

Go to Step 3

1. Disconnect the air suspension dump switch connector.
2. Connect a test lamp between the air suspension dump indicator control circuit and ground circuit.
3. Turn the ignition ON, with the engine OFF.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 4

Inspect the air suspension dump indicator control circuit for poor connections at the IP harness connector. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs .

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 5

Check the air suspension dump indicator control circuit for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs .

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 6

Check the air suspension dump indicator ground circuit for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs .

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 8

Replace the air suspension dump switch.

Did you complete the replacement?

Go to Step 8

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?

System OK
