Passenger Side Front Outside Door Handle Inoperative (Replace Outside Door Handle)

Some customers may comment that the front passenger side outside door handle will not release the door latch and allow the door to open. The inside handle continues to work properly.

The pivot screw for the bellcrank on the back of the handle may loosen over time. Operating the handle causes the bell crank to turn. This turning motion can back the pivot screw out to the point that the bell crank disengages from the handle.

Install a new outside door handle, P/N 25862355, on affected vehicles.
