- Apply RTV sealant, Three Bond TB1207C or equivalent, to the flywheel housing fitting surfaces.
- Install the flywheel housing to the cylinder block.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the flywheel housing bolts to the cylinder block.
Tighten
Tighten the flywheel housing bolts to the following torques:
| • | Bolts marked 1, to 96 N·m (71 lb ft) |
| • | Bolts marked 2, to 73 N·m (54 lb ft) |
| • | Bolts marked 3, to 119 N·m (88 lb ft) |
| • | Bolts marked 4, to 86 N·m (64 lb ft) |
| • | Bolts marked 5, to 53 N·m (39 lb ft) |
- Install the flywheel housing bolts and nuts through the cylinder block.
Tighten
Tighten the flywheel housing bolts to the following torques:
| • | Nuts marked 1, to 40 N·m (30 lb ft) |
| • | Bolts marked 2, to 86 N·m (41 lb ft) |
