Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1335419 Size: SH
  1. Remove the air cleaner . Refer to Air Cleaner Replacement .
  2. Remove the water outlet tube. Refer to Water Outlet Tube Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the fuel feed line quick connect fitting. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Reposition the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) coolant pipe hose clamp.
  5. Remove the EGR coolant pipe hose.
  6. Remove the EGR coolant pipe bolts.
  7. Remove the EGR coolant pipe.

  8. Remove the fuel feed pipe nut and clip bolts.
  9. Remove the fuel feed pipe.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  1. Install the fuel feed pipe.
  2. Install the fuel feed pipe nut and clip bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts/nut to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

  3. Install the EGR coolant pipe.
  4. Install the EGR coolant pipe bolts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  5. Install the EGR coolant pipe hose.
  6. Position the EGR coolant pipe hose clamp.
  7. Connect the fuel feed line quick connect fitting. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  8. Install the water outlet tube. Refer to Water Outlet Tube Replacement .
  9. Install the air cleaner. Refer to Air Cleaner Replacement .
  10. Prime the fuel system. Refer to Fuel System Priming .
  11. Start the engine. If the engine stalls, repeat the above step.
  12. Once the engine starts, inspect for fuel leaks.
