Set Up a New Theft Deterrent Module
From the scan main menu, select service programming system, then follow the instructions on the screen.
Key Coding Procedure (Holden)
Important: Holden systems have only one key. Master and Valet key reference does not apply.
Use this procedure after replacing any of the following components:
| • | The vehicle key |
| • | The TDM |
| • | The ECM |
Important: When replacing a theft deterrent module (TDM), ensure the procedure to setup a new theft deterrent module is performed prior to the key coding procedure.
From the scan main menu, select service programming system, then follow the instructions on the screen.
Key Coding Procedure (Non Holden)
Important: Use only a master key when performing the first relearn procedure. If a valet key is used first, the theft deterrent module (TDM) will not allow additional keys to be learned.
Use this procedure after replacing any of the following components:

| • | The TDM |
| • | The ECM |
