The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
2009 models equipped with RPO UPF are Blue Tooth compatible with cell phones. The vehicle must also be equipped with redundant steering wheel controls (RPO UK3) and OnStar (UE1). There is no retro fit kits for prior model years and/or vehicles without the proper options (UK3, UE1). Additional information / installation instructions will be on each Marketing Division's web site.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Verify correct RPOs to ensure vehicle is blue tooth compatible.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
