Condition
Some customers may comment on a ticking noise at the windshield area (with or without a bug deflector).
Cause
The back side of the molding that comes in contact with the windshield is smooth and may cause a slip/stick condition.
Correction
Replace the left side or the right side windshield reveal molding. Refer to Windshield Reveal Molding Replacement in SI if necessary. The new design molding has a textured surface to reduce the stick/slip condition and will eliminate the ticking noise.
