The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Some owners may comment of a cold air leak on the front passenger side while driving. This concern may be caused by air leaking at the seam between the upper and lower hvac case halves behind the glove box.

Recommendation/Instructions:

To repair this concern lower the glove box to access the hvac case. Use black RTV silicone and apply over the seam between the upper and lower hvac case halves.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
