This bulletin is being revised to add additional repair information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 08-08-64-002 (Section 08 -- Body and Accessories).
The purpose of this bulletin is to announce the availability of the outside rearview mirror arm covers for the wide load mirrors.
It is no longer necessary to replace the entire mirror assembly when the outside rearview mirror arm cover (1) is cracked, broken or missing from the mirror assembly.
Important: For increased retention of the cover, apply a bead of weatherstrip Adhesive to both catch tabs and then install it to the mirror housing. Refer to the illustration above for adhesive location.
