The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
A dealer may encounter a customer concern of an engine oil leak.
Engineering is interested in rear of engine oil leaks.
Engineering would like to visit a dealer that has verified a rear of engine oil leak.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Engineering is interested in rear cover, rear main seal, and crankshaft related oil leaks.
If a dealer has verified a rear of engine oil leak and is located in either Michigan, Indiana, or Ohio please contact engineering directly.
