Condition
Some customers may comment on any of the following conditions:
| • | a rattling noise coming from inside the door or the door panel |
| • | a poor fit of the inner door panel |
| • | a loose door panel |
Cause
GM Engineering is attempting to categorize the several different types of customer comments occurring with door panels on the fullsize pickup and SUV's. This information will be used to quantify each type of specific concern and develop/validate fixes.
During diagnosis and repair, note the following information on the repair order:

- Describe the customer concern - be specific.
- Does the vehicle currently exhibit the condition, or can the condition be easily seen?
- Provide a detailed description of the condition causing the customer's concern.
- Describe the repair made to correct the customer's concern.
