The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may report missing or inaccurate information within their Navigation Radio map software
Recommendation/Instructions:
General Motors uses a map database from GDT, now Tele Atlas, It is the same database that Microsoft Streets and Trips and Mapquest use. Sometimes streets will not be found in the database. Tele Atlas is consistently updating the map database and will gladly accept any information you have on streets that are missing or incorrect. Go to www.teleatlas.com and click on support link and select "navigation CD's" and "Feedback Form". Complete the attached form and submit.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
