  3. Clock will not update itself when the vehicle enters new time zones.

Recommendation/Instructions:

Please read the following to address the concerns listed above.

  1. If the customer experiences low volume from the radio and/or the OnStar system, have the dealer reprogram the navigation radio with the latest calibration available in TIS2000 version 2.75 or later. (This applies to model year 2007 only and only the U3U navigation radio)
  2. Radio displays "Map Disk Error", this concern may be caused by operator error, make sure the Map disk is installed in the correct slot, located behind the navigation screen. To access this slot, you will need to go to the Navigation menu and select the load Map CD button. You can find the exact instructions and location of the slot in the navigation supplement owner's manual.
  3. "Clock will not update in new time zone" This is normal operation and the radio should not be replaced for this concern. Refer customers to the navigation supplement owner's manual regarding this feature which provides the instructions on how to manually change the clock settings.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
