The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Some owners may comment of a creak, tick or itch type noise while driving. This noise could be from either the left or right side and can be heard during start and stop maneuvers or body twist.

This noise may be from the lower B-pillar as shown below (right side pictured).

To repair this concern use tongue and groove pliers (ChannelLock-) to grab the lower portion of the B-pillar flange. A towel or rag should be used to protect the paint finish. Pinch the joint together and then bend the pinched joint forward approximately 5 to 10 degrees.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
