The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may state they can not go to the next disc with the steering wheel controls while sourced to the CD changer if multiple discs are loaded.
Recommendation/Instructions:
This is a normal design intent of the radio and no repairs should be attempted. Starting with the 2007 model year, a change will be made to the software to allow users to select different discs using the "seek" button on the steering wheel controls.
Note: Some early built vehicles may list the function of the seek button as it related to changing the disc with the steering wheel controls incorrectly in the owners manual.
This has been submitted for correction.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
