When GM Accessory Wheels are installed onto a customer's vehicle, warranty coverage will continue to apply to the factory-installed (OE) wheels that are removed from that vehicle (i.e. take-off wheels). If the take-off wheels are installed on another vehicle, the warranty will continue providing that vehicle can be ordered from the factory with those same wheels.

Important: Whenever a tire is replaced or rotated, perform the tire pressure sensor learn procedure found in SI.

For example, if a dealer replaces the factory-installed 17" wheels on a 2007 Tahoe LT, with take-off 20" wheels from another 2007 Tahoe, the take-off wheels will be covered under the provisions of the Bumper to Bumper portion of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty (in Canada, the Base Warranty Coverage).

Additionally, TPC (Tire Performance Criteria) tires associated with take-off wheels that are installed PRIOR to delivery will be covered under the provisions of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Tires associated with take-off wheels that are installed AFTER delivery will be covered under the provisions of the tire manufacturer warranty.
