The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some owners may comment of a water leak from the drivers side of the sunroof assembly. This concern could be caused by a blockage of the drivers side sunroof drain hose in the cowl. In some cases, the drain hose may be too long and the end of the hose is bottomed out against the body sealer.
Recommendation/Instructions:
To correct this concern remove the cowl screen and wiper assembly to shorten the hose. This will provide additional clearance between the end of the drain hose and the body sealer.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
